De 18 - Final Reflection

I really enjoyed the course. I've learned a lot of history of math that was beyond the central European theme. Studying mathematics, I was mostly familiar with the European mathematics and in this course I've learned much more about other cultures.

I was already thinking of implementing history of math in my teaching and this course encouraged me to do so even more. Studying the context in which mathematics was invented is very important and it gives students the perspective that math just doesn't come from textbooks, polished and ready to go.
